This chill, international hostel is the perfect spot for a relaxed Vancouver home base, just 20 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from UBC, in the middle of green and lush parkland filled with trails and bike paths. The neighbouring Jericho Beach—one of Kitsilano's favorite hangouts—has unbeatable views over downtown Vancouver and is a hotspot for paddleboarding and kayaking.

Seasonal closure: HI Vancouver Jericho Beach will be closed from October 19th to May 1st, but you can still book the hostel for groups or through the student housing program during this time. And here’s a fun exception: the hostel will be open for Taylor Swift’s concerts from December 6th to 8th!
