HI Mosquito Creek Wilderness Hostel
Banff National Park, Alberta
Right in the middle of Banff National Park, HI Mosquito Creek feels a bit like the middle of nowhere — and that’s exactly what makes it special. In summer, it’s the perfect base for hiking, climbing, and exploring glacier-fed streams. In winter, it turns into a quiet alpine retreat surrounded by snow-covered peaks. After a full day of mountain adventure, warm up by the fireplace or outdoor fire pit, then settle into a shared dorm, private room, or your own family cabin for a peaceful night under the stars.
- Get cozy by the fireplace or campfire
- Direct access to snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, hiking and more outdoor adventures
- Off-grid living: limited solar electricity, potable water provided, no showers or flush toilets.
