HI WILDERNESS HOSTELS SEASON’S PASS

Canada doesn’t close in the winter. Get seven months of unlimited stays at HI’s wilderness hostels in the Rockies.

Canada’s Rocky Mountains are a totally different world come winter. Once the snow falls, everything becomes quieter, calmer… and, yeah, colder. All you need is some cozy clothes and a warm place to spend the night and this winter wonderland becomes your playground, with cross-country ski trails at your doorstep, crisp night skies bursting with stars and new friends gathered around a mid-winter bonfire.

There are nine wilderness hostels in the Rockies that are open through the winter, and with a wilderness season’s pass, you can stay at any of them as much as you want from November 1 to May 31, and get unlimited stays at HI Nordegg, Shunda Creek Hostel between Sundays and Thursdays.

NEW THIS YEAR
Our season's pass has gone digital! Starting this year, when you purchase a wilderness season's pass, you'll be emailed your pass information. You won't receive a pass or confirmation in the mail. Please have this emailed information available upon check-in (printed or saved as a screenshot on your fully charged phone, as not all hostels have wifi or electricity).
