HI Mount Edith Cavell Wilderness Hostel
Jasper National Park, Alberta
Backed by the towering Mount Edith Cavell, this spot is a favourite for hikers, cyclists and even cross-country skiers. The unique location of the hostel gives guests easy access to the breathtaking views of Angel Glacier and Cavell Meadows. Many backcountry adventurists use it as a base to explore the trails of the Tonquin Valley.
Important: Hostel reservations are required. No walk-ins please.

16-Bed Cabin
Our two sleeping cabins each sleep 16 guests in bunks and they each have a wood-burning fireplace to keep things cozy. Outhouse facilities are nearby.
Group Bookings
HI Mount Edith Cavell is the perfect spot for groups seeking adventure. In the summer, set out on any of the many trailheads for all levels. In the winter, the hostel is accessible by a mild and stunning 12km cross-country ski or snowshoe trip. The hostel has two 16-bed dormitories, an inviting fire pit and a spacious kitchen for group use.
