HI Lake Louise Alpine Centre is in the centre of the village of Lake Louise. With just a short drive to the ski hill, and hiking and skiing trails out the back door, this large but cozy alpine hostel is the perfect mountain hideaway for groups, large and small. The facility has two large kitchens and a restaurant, so feeding your crowd will never be a problem. There are plenty of common areas to relax in front of a roaring fire, play pool or mingle with other guests. A large number of 3, 4, 5 and 6-bed dorms means your group can be accommodated in small and private rooms.

What are the room types and sizes available to groups? We have a lot to choose from! Each of our dorm rooms sleeps four to six people in bunk beds, and many of them share a washroom with just one other room. We also have private rooms with ensuites and private rooms with shared washroom facilities.
Are there lockers in the rooms? Each dorm room has one locker per bed.
Is luggage and sports gear storage available? We have storage space available for your luggage before check-in and after check-out. We also have covered outdoor bike storage for your bikes (bring your own lock), and a place to wax your skis.
What will we find in the shared kitchen? We have two fully equipped kitchens with cooktops, ovens and all the cookware and dishes you need.
Do you have a BBQ? We have an outdoor BBQ available for all guests to use.
Is there a fire pit? Yes we have an outdoor firepit available to guests.
Do you have a meeting room our group can use? Yes, we have a meeting room with capacity for 20 people, subject to availability.
Is catering available? Yes! Our on-site Bill Peyto's Café can provide catering services in the off-season.
Do you offer free breakfast? We do not offer free breakfast, but we serve breakfast at our on-site Bill Peyto's Café.
Is there free parking? What about for buses? We have a free parking lot at the hostel and there's space for buses. We ask that you arrange bus parking in advance.
Is there public transit or a shuttle service nearby? You'll find a bus stop for Banff's Roam public transit service nearby. Parks Canada also offers shuttles to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake from the nearby park-and-ride lot during the summer.
What are your quiet hours? We respectfully ask guests to keep the noise down between 11 pm and 7 am.
Is there 24-hour check-in and security? Our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and a night security agent on from 10 pm to 8 am. If you expect to arrive late, please let us know ahead of time.
Is a deposit required? A twenty (20%) percent deposit is required at the time of booking. A fifty (50%) percent deposit is required if reservation involves booking at least fifty (50%) percent of the hostel or fifty (50) hostel beds.
What are your cancellation policies? Cancellations received more than 28 days prior to your arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 to 28 days before check-in forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made 14 days or less before check-in date are non-refundable.
Are there age limits for the groups that stay with you? There are no age limits for groups that stay with us, however youth groups must be properly chaperoned.
What are the minimum and maximum group sizes? Groups must consist of at least 10 people. Our hostel has a maximum capacity of 190 and very large groups can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, though specifics depend on the season.
Is there a discount for group bookings? Generally groups are offered the member rate, but this may vary depending on the group size, time of year and each property.

Is there a surcharge for single occupancy? Dorm rooms are priced by the room based on the total number of beds in the room. If you wish to leave beds empty, you still must pay the full room fee. Some hostels offer discounted private dorm rates at certain times of the year. Private rooms are priced based on double occupancy and there is no single surcharge.
