Lindau
This hostel is in a manor is right by the water, and their motto is "be active." Swimming, surfing, sailing, skiing and snowboarding are all things you can do in and around Lake Constance.
Heidelberg
Heidelberg is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany and the hostel is right on the Neckar river in the northwest of the city next to the University of Heidelberg.
Hamburg
In Hamburg, you can get the best of both worlds: a nice mix of city and countryside. There are also bars, pubs and live clubs where even the Beatles once played nearby.
