Here's how it works:

Step 1: Spread the word! Tell your friends, colleagues or family members about the job openings at our hostel and encourage them to apply.

Step 2: Have your applicant mention your name in their application.

Step 3: If your applicant gets hired, you’ll receive your referral bonus on your next pay! Oh, and by the way, there's no limit to the number of referrals you can make.

By spreading the word, you're not only scoring a deal for yourself, but you're also helping us build the ultimate team at our hostels. It's a win-win!

The employee referral program is only applicable to current HI Canada staff.

Referrers must ensure that their referred candidate mentions their name in their application.

The referred candidate must be a new applicant and must not have been previously employed by the association.

Referral bonus will be $50 for front-line positions and $100 for supervisory and management positions.

Payment of the referral bonus will be applied to the next pay period after the candidate is hired. All bonuses paid under this program are subject to tax withholding.

Referrers will receive one referral bonus per referred candidate who is successfully hired. There is no limit to the number of referrals that can be made by a referrer.
