Guest Satisfaction Survey Contest

1. Contest Eligibility:

The "Satisfaction Survey Contest" (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") is open to participants from any country who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.

2. Contest Duration:

The Contest begins on the first day of each month and ends on the last day of that month (the "Contest Period").

3. How to Enter:

Participants must complete the guest satisfaction survey sent to them by email after their stay at a participating HI Canada hostel (listed below) and opt in by entering their name and email address on the last question.

4. Prize Details:

The prize consists of a $50 credit that can be used towards accommodation at one of the participating hostels within a period of two years from its emission.

5. Prize Allocation:

On the first working day of each month, the list of participants will be entered into a random picker software to extract a winner for the previous month.

6. Prize Conditions:

The following conditions apply to the prize:

• Prizes are transferable but have no cash value.
• The $50 credit can only be applied to accommodation fees, including taxes, on one single transaction.
• If only part of the credit is used on a transaction under $50, any leftover balance will be forfeited.
• Prizes must be redeemed within two years of their respective date of emission.
• Availability for accommodation at the hostels is subject to availability and date restrictions.

7. Winner Notification:

All winners will be notified by email. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond, no alternate winner will be selected. The winner will be able to claim their prize through the entire validity period, i.e. two years from the date on which the notification email was sent.

8. General Conditions:

The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.

Contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that does not comply with the rules or that seeks to tamper with or disrupt the Contest.

Contest organizers reserve the right to modify or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice.

9. Release and Limitation of Liability:

By entering the Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Contest organizers and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest.

10. Privacy Notice:

Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purposes of administering the Contest and will not be shared with third parties.

11. Governing Law:

The Contest is governed by the laws of British Columbia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia.

12. Contest Organizer:

The Contest is organized by HI Canada, headquartered at 535 Thurlow Street, Suite 505, Vancouver, BC, V6E 3L2.

By entering the "Satisfaction Survey Contest" participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this fine print.
