Amy Watkins, a British-born travel writer, fell in love with Canada as a teenager and moved to Vancouver in 2012. In the UK she worked as a features editor and freelance writer for ten years, writing about travel for national magazines and newspapers. Amy has travelled around the world on assignments as varied as cooking with celebrity chefs in the Caribbean to polar bear watching in the Arctic. She now writes about travel, food and West Coast life for a variety of publications.

Danielle is an artist, wildlife admirer, snowboarder, and cocktail snob currently residing in the Yukon. Her first solo travel experience was to New Zealand for a semester abroad and was blown away by the rich culture and mountainous landscapes. Thereafter, Danielle knew she needed to explore more of this magnificent world, and became rather engrossed by this aspiration. Her most treasured item to travel with is a journal. She loves a good thunderstorm, sharing and listening to stories, being hypnotized by a campfire, and cuddling up to watch a distressing film. Since 2012, she’s lived in over 13 cities and towns with the ambition to add more to that list.

Dominik and Josefine (Red White Adventures) are an international travel couple who work online as content creators while exploring the world as digital nomads. They first met in a hostel room in Australia back in 2016 and have since then travelled to and lived in multiple countries around the world such as New Zealand, Canada, Denmark, Portugal, and the Czech Republic. Being born and raised in Vancouver, BC (a rarity around these parts!), my first travel experiences were all long road trips with the fam. We would drive through the Rockies to visit family in Alberta, spend weeks camping down in Oregon and California, explore the interior of BC and all the islands off the coast. They're some of my favorite memories and since then the travel spark has been in me full-force. My first overseas adventure was a school trip to the Greek Islands in Gr. 10 - and I've never looked back.

Nomad Junkies
The two Montrealers Safia and Emilie launched the online magazine Nomad Junkies back in January 2014 to talk about their nomadic lifestyle and inspire people to travel. They've now explored more than 76 countries (and that number keeps growing!).
After five years on the road, the two girls decided to pursue an epic journey in their own backyard: to backpack in Canada from coast to coast. We've teamed up on a campaign to inspire Canadians to travel locally rather than going abroad while demonstrating that it’s simple, accessible and affordable to discover Canada. Sia Shete is a 19 year old "chaotic" poet, author, offbeat traveler and mood photographer based in Toronto. Her debut novel "In the Gray" will be launching North America-wide in July 2024. Sia is currently also pursuing Journalism at Toronto Metropolitan University.
