Jessie grew up in a rural community in Northern British Columbia. Currently, she lives in St. John's, Newfoundland, and has fallen in love with the city and its energy. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, short story collections, playing music, cooking, travelling, craft beers, Jeopardy! reruns and taking in live shows.
