How to hostel in 2020

As HI Squamish, Adventure Inn features many shared spaces, it is not a suitable accommodation option for those with Covid-19 symptoms or those who must self-isolate after travel.

What we're doing

What We're Doing

  • We are following best practices laid out by the WHO and WorkSafeBC
  • Staff have been asked to monitor their symptoms daily
  • In addition to our already rigorous cleaning standards, our staff will be sanitizing high-touch areas
  • Sanitizing keycards
  • Encouraging our staff to wash their hands frequently
  • Recommending staff wear gloves and masks

  • Providing an extra flat sheet to guests in shared dorms to create a curtain around their bed, if requested
  • Reduced occupancy in dorm rooms
  • Providing surface sanitizer in all common areas for guests to use
