The lengths of Ekiden can vary greatly, but our Ekiden covers 42.195 km, a full marathon distance with five relay runners covering various distances.
*Due to construction at the Cave and Basin parking lot, leg one will turn around at the end of Cave Ave as runners leave the pathway and turn onto the road. This distance (300m) will be made up on leg four where runners will do a loop on the pathway at the end of Bow Ave before returning on the pathway.*
Start/Finish
Each leg starts and finished at the Eric Harvey building at The Banff Centre.
