you'll find us 245 km from Halifax, Nova Scotia, 160 km from Charlottetown, PEI and 285 km from Moncton, New Brunswick.
Coming from Halifax:
Take the highway 102 towards Airport/Truro, turn onto the highway 104 towards New Glasgow, Antigonish and cross the Causeway onto Cape Breton Island. On the rotary highway 105 towards Baddeck. We are located in Aberdeen, in between Whycocomagh and Baddeck. We are about 1 km away from the Aberdeen Motel. There is a sign with Bear on the lake Guesthouse on the left side of the road. Please be careful with the traffic turning onto our long driveway up the hill. Our neighbours are on the bottom of our driveway.
Coming from Sydney:
Take the 105 towards Port Hastings. We are located between Baddeck and Whycocomagh. There is a sign on the right side of the road with Bear on the Lake Guesthouse. Please be careful with traffic turning onto our long driveway up the hill. Our neighbours are on the bottom of our driveway.

ARRIVE BY SHUTTLE
Local shuttle companies are more affordable, comfy and faster getting you to our doorstep than the bus! These shuttles will pick up/drop off at our door step daily from Halifax, Halifax International Airport, the Newfoundland Ferry dock (North Sydney) and Sydney. Contact us for details!
Several shuttle companies with 7-10 passenger vans drop off or pick up from our doorstop daily en-route to/from Halifax / Halifax International Airport / Newfoundland Ferry Terminal in North Sydney/ Sydney/ Sydney Airport/ Truro and Antigonish.

ARIVE BY BUS
The local Greyhound/Acadien bus arrives in Whycocomagh/Baddeck each day (smtbus.com).
Acadian Bus Lines (Atlantic Canada's equivalent to Greyhound) ONLY arrives and departs ONCE a day from our region.
As of 2011, the bus departs Whycocomagh at 09h40 each morning in the direction of Halifax/Truro/Moncton.
The only bus to arrive from Halifax /Truro/ Moncton is at 21h00 each evening.
The bus stop is in WHYCOCOMAGH at VI's RESTAURANT, which is a 5 km walk from us.
There are no taxis.
*Please not that it is LESS EXPENSIVE, FASTER and you will ARRIVE AT OUR DOORSTEP if you take a SHUTTLE!!
