The Forges du Saint-Maurice

The Forges-du-Saint-Maurice Historic Site hosts the remains of Canada's first forges. They've started their activities in 1730 and have been operational for more than 150 years. The site is also where the first Canadian industrial village was settled.


Boréalis is the centre of history of the paper industry in Trois-Rivières. Its interactive exhibitions are all Saint-Maurice river themed should it be the surrounding forest, the log drive, the lumberjacks or the paper industry in the region. You can also visit impressive underground reservoirs and make your own paper!

The Moulin seigneurial Pointe-du-Lac
