Why not combine overseas travel with working in a hostel abroad? An internship in a youth hostel is an excellent way to acquire a great work experience while immersed in another culture! In collaboration with other HI federations from around the world, Hostelling International (HI) - Canada, is offering young Canadians the opportunity for formative training in participating hostels in Belgium and Germany.
Internships are offered in very specific areas, such as :
- Innkeeping (front desk);
- Catering (cooking, dishwashing, waiting tables);
- Programming (sport instructor, guide, etc);
- Special projects (specialized fix term contracts in various fields)
Internships vary in duration, from two to six months with interns working a maximum work week of 35 hours.

The inscription fee for the program is $150.00 plus taxes.
